Android Users Can Browsing Without Internet!
There are times when the Android smartphone users want to browse or search for information in the Google search field, but constrained by a bad internet connection. For example when it is inside the elevator, in the music studio, or in places difficult to other signals.
Google wanted to solve the problem by presenting offline search features Google Search app for Android (not the internet browser). These applications typically found in the Home page in the top tier of Android smartphones.
You can now browse certain information in the search engines without connecting to the Internet. However, the search results will be delayed.
When you successfully connect to the Internet, Google will provide notification that the search results of keywords that you entered previously available.
Simply tap the notification, then you will be automatically redirected to Google applications. The information to be obtained was immediately listed. No longer need to manually enter the application and retyping keywords.
"With the offline mode, the search results are stored when you can not connect and then given back when you've connected," as stated on the official Google blog.
This is not the first time Google released an offline mode for its services. Previously, the mode without an internet connection is already available in Google Maps and Google Translate.
However, the mechanism in the Search bit different. Maps and Translate, users must download location information or translations were deemed important advance.
Of course downloading need Internet connection or WiFi network smoothly. After that, when a data connection is turned off, users can still access the location and translation of previously downloaded.
Offline mode in the Search does not use the download mechanism, but the delay. In essence, this mode is expected to facilitate the users to search for all the information quickly, despite distracted connection interruption.
To enjoy this feature, you'll need to update Google apps on Android via the Play Store. KompasTekno myself have tried and succeeded.
Just scroll-app to the left to meet with the "Settings". Next select "Offline Search" and enable "Always Retry Searches".
All the searches you do when you're offline can be seen in the "Manage Searches". Good luck!
